OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
Kent and I met in New Orleans on work trips we were never supposed to be on.
By pure chance — or maybe fate — our paths crossed.
Our first date, we went to dinner and barely touched our food. Instead, we talked for hours — about our families, our values, our outlook on life, and our shared love for exploring the world and experiencing different cultures. It felt as though time had paused, and nothing else mattered.
Fast forward to
Since that night in New Orleans, Kent and Yasin have traveled to more than 27 countries, choosing a life built on curiosity, connection, and adventure. Along the way, they’ve created a life filled with meaning, laughter, and unforgettable memories — made even sweeter by their wonderful dog, Lila, who is never far from the center of it all. Together, they continue to embrace life fully, always side by side.
The proposal
On January 12, 2025, in Bali, Kent proposed to Yasin — and in a twist that perfectly reflects who they are, Yasin was planning to propose to Kent that very same day.
Without knowing it, we had each chosen rings from the same place, guided by the same intention and the same vision for their future. It was a moment that felt less like coincidence and more like destiny — a quiet confirmation that we were always moving toward the same promise.
When we said “yes,” it wasn’t just to marriage. It was to a life of love, adventure, and choosing each other — again and again.
